Here at Starlight Advertising we take pride in creating the best quality artworks for your branding needs. In order to produce a quality imprint, there are certain art guidelines that need to be followed. The important components in obtaining quality artwork are the program art is sent in, the version of the software, the fonts and the file format used to save the artwork. We hope the following guidelines will help in ensuring superior brand imprint on our great products.

PREFERRED SOFTWARE

• Adobe Illustrator® (.eps) or (.ai) - Please embed or include any external images and convert text to outlines or attach a font file.
• Adobe Photoshop® (.psd) or (.tif) - art to size, resolution to be at least 300 DPI based on actual imprint size. This type of format will only be usable when printing full color.

COMPRESSION SOFTWARE

• WinZip (.zip)
• Stuffit (.sit)

NOTE: We cannot accept e-mail attachments over 25 MB in size. Please contact us and we can arrange for proper transfer of larger artwork files.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Vector art files are required for color separations (.eps, .ai).
• Line thickness should be no less than .5 points.
• For artwork files larger than 10MB, please contact one our Promotional Products Experts.
• Please indicate any PMS color numbers.
  
  

In most cases, art prep work is done at no charge. Although we can accept art in programs other than those listed above, there may be an art charge assessed in order to provide a quality imprint.
